Storytelling Festival...
We made it to a puppet show put on by my sister's mother-in-law. The kids had a great time trying to move these cute puppets on the stage!!!

Maddie's Birthday
So this year for Maddie's birthday, we decided to take our little family to Disney on Ice. Maddie is currently obsessed with Minnie Mouse, so we thought she would like this sort of thing. She and Andrew both loved it...well, they loved the times when Minnie and Mickey were skating on the ice. Maddie would get upset each time Minnie left, and we had to reassure her that Minnie would come back. The first three pictures are from our small little cake and ice cream party with the family. I think the last two pictures are the kids at Disney on Ice. I tried to add more pictures, but my computer froze. Maybe you can only add five...I don't really know.

Finally Recovering From Colds...
I know, I know...I shouldn't get too excited about that. It won't be long before we catch some other virus. I haven't blogged in a few months, and I guess this month-long cold is going to be my new excuse. Seriously though, I have been so mad about this whole round of colds from the beginning. Andrew has had some sort of bronchitis that would cause him to cough until he finally vomited. And this was like an every day event for about two weeks of this cold. It was disgusting!! After antibiotics prescribed for ear infections, both kids are finally looking better and actually sleeping through the night again! I was talking to Matt the other day about how my kids are sick every year right after the Christmas holiday. All my Christmas money has been spent on doctor copays and prescriptions. What a fun month!! Anyway, since we've been homebound for so long, I don't really have anything interesting to write. I'll try to upload some new pictures next time I go downstairs to the freezing cold basement!

A Break!
Today is one of those rare days when I not only got both kids to take naps, but I also got them to do it at the same time! I could be using this time to clean my house a little, but I thought I would waste my time on the blog. My computer has crashed several times in trying to blog over the last couple of months. So for those of you on my case about updating this thing...it's not entirely my fault. There really isn't that much to report...let's see, Matt started his new job teaching at Pleasant Grove High School. He likes it, but misses some of his students at the old school. Andrew and Maddie are beginning to be best friends. I thought this day would never come! They still fight a lot, but at least they are beginning to play together!! Andrew is very excited for Christmas...he has already made his list for Santa. Just a tip for some out there...never hand a 3 year old a toy magazine and ask what they want Santa to bring them. Andrew is determined that he will be getting a piano for Christmas. That's right, some toy piano thing that costs a couple hundred dollars. I'm trying to convince him that it takes YEARS for Santa to make these. we'll see how that goes. We found out our renters will be moving at the end of this month, so for any of you that know any couples looking, let me know. Anyway, I better be getting something started for dinner. Hopefully this won't crash again!
